Mondena travel wants to provide to you with a unique relaxing trip – a boat excursion through the Canyon of Zrmanja river, where a series of western films about the Indian chief Winnetou was made in the 1960s.

Your adventure begins in the morning in Starigrad, a village situated under the Velebit mountain, from where we'll sail to the small, pictoresque village of Vinjerac. After sailing under the two bridges at Maslenica, we enter the canyon. We will be passing large impressive rocks and stone cliffs which stretch high along the river flow. After an hour's drive through the beautiful canyon of River Zrmanja, or Rio pecos as it was called in the film, we arrive at Pueblo Plato, where they made the film Winnetou. Around noon, we'll arrive in the fishing town of Novigrad, situated at the mouth of the river. Guests will be given a break for relaxation, followed by lunch at a rustic restaurant which overlooks the sea and the natural bay. After a short cruise, we'll arrive at the sandy beach. All guests will have the opportunity to enjoy swimming and sunbathing. In the late afternoon, we return to Starigrad where our tour ends.
